Who can ask

The owner of a job, story or event, or someone who acts for the owner, such as the organisation that published it. You do not need to give a legal reason.

What happens

We act quickly. Once we have your request, a person reviews it and, if the item is yours, we hide it from the site and stop collecting from that source. If you ask us to, we switch the whole source off. We hide items rather than deleting them, so nothing is lost if we later agree to restore one with your permission. We will tell you by email when it is done.
